The Guaduas Field
The Guaduas field, in which Osage acquired a minority interest in 2008 by purchasing Cimarrona, LLC, consists of the Dindal and Rio Seco concessions.
The Guaduas-La Dorada Pipeline
The Guaduas-La Dorada Pipeline was constructed to transport oil from the Guaduas Field to La Dorada, where it could be fed into the primary north-south pipeline to transport the crude to the Caribbean coast for export.
- The pipeline is approximately 32 miles long, and transports oil over the mountain at Guaduas
- The pipeline is currently being used to transport third party oil as a common carrier in addition to our own production
- The capacity of the pipeline is approximately 35,000 barrels per day
- Pipeline transport is regulated in Colombia, with the tariff being set by the government, which generally escalates over time
- Currently the pipeline tariff is set at $1.705 per barrel
- Pacific Rubiales Energy is our partner, and Operator of the pipeline
- Osage, also through its wholly owned Cimarrona subsidiary, owns 9.4% of the pipeline
